1 New Customer = 1 New Tree
Yep, you read that right.
Every time a new customer completes their first project with us, we'll plant a tree.
Trees are great.
Who doesn't love a good tree?
They eat CO2 and produce Oxygen,
which we need to breathe. Cool, eh?
Trees are home to loads of wildlife,
from arachnids to zorapterans.
It's a whole community.
We're attracted to live and work in green surroundings. We benefit from a healthier, happier life if there are parks and trees nearby, which is good for our future.
Oh, and they're not just figuratively cool. Eating all that CO2 helps keep the planet cool. That's wild.
Urban woodland brings people together for activities like walking and bird-watching.
Outdoor activities benefit our health.
So we've established that trees look nice and help the environment, but another plus is that they protect our planet for the future. Great.
There are loads of tree charities and foundations out there, but we've chosen the National Trust's 'Plant a tree' initiative.
We like to keep things local, so choosing a UK-based conservation organisation means as many of the trees as possible will be planted in the UK for us to enjoy. They've already done some great work, planting thousands of young saplings across the UK, and aim to plant 20 million by 2030.
You can find out more about the project here.
We know planting trees isn't the only way to help our planet, so we're doing loads more to offset our environmental impact. Some of our other efforts include:
As a small business, our environmental impact is already pretty low. We don't have
a huge energy-guzzling office building,
so we're starting off in a good place.
We hate the stuff. That's why we search for and use products and equipment that contain less plastic.
Most businesses get through tons of paper. That's not so good for those trees we spoke about earlier. We print as little as possible and make sure any paper we do use is recycled when we're done with it.
We use LED video lights, which consume far less energy than the alternatives. We also use LEDs in lots of other places, from our computer monitors to office lights.
Our fancy new polo shirts are made from 100% organic cotton. No toxic chemicals means soil isn't damaged, and they use
88% less water and 62% less energy to make.
We all know we should recycle.
A lot of people don't.
The small print.
Not everything you read on the internet is true, which is why we gathered the information on this page from reputable sources and fact-checked it against other sites to ensure it's as accurate as it can be.
Our tree-planting scheme is subject to a minimum project cost of £100.
The buzzkill accountants said we couldn't go planting trees if it meant we make a loss.
