Hever Castle Golf Club

16-Hour NHS Golf Day
Video Production

The 2020 pandemic highlighted the incredible importance of our NHS, showcasing the tireless dedication of healthcare workers who went above and beyond to support the nation during an unprecedented crisis. It also inspired individuals and communities to rally together in extraordinary ways to show their gratitude and provide much-needed support.

In 2020, Olympic hockey player Calum Giles served as captain of Hever Castle Golf Club. As part of his role, Calum was tasked with organising charity fundraising events throughout the year, a long-standing tradition for club captains. However, the Covid-19 lockdowns disrupted these plans, presenting a significant challenge. Undeterred by the restrictions, Calum came up with an innovative and physically demanding alternative—a 16-hour round of golf to raise money for the NHS, a cause close to everyone’s hearts during that time.

We had the privilege of documenting this remarkable day through video production, capturing the determination, community spirit, and generosity that defined the event. From the early morning preparations to the final putt at the end of the gruelling day, our video highlights the physical and mental resilience required to undertake such a feat. It also showcases the incredible support Calum received from fellow club members, friends, and family, who cheered him on and contributed to his fundraising efforts.

The video serves not only as a tribute to Calum’s dedication but also as a heartfelt acknowledgment of the NHS and the countless lives it touches. We are proud to have played a role in preserving the story of this inspiring act of generosity and to contribute to raising awareness for such a vital cause.
